Our Foundation, Southern Legacy S'mores

Southern Legacy S'mores was bred by Carolina Oaks Kennels in South Carolina.  She is our foundation female that began our journey of breeding French Bulldogs.  S'mores has an affectionate temperament with both people and dogs.  She is the queen of our home, loves to expend her energy chasing the birds and chipmunks in our yard, and wrestling with our Boykin, Bogey, and her daughter, Smokey.  She is an excellent breather and tolerates moderate exercise without distress when the Georgia weather is tolerable. She is an excellent mother to her puppies and is my favorite snuggler.  

Smore's is a beautiful 100% French Bulldog.  She has a nice French Bulldog stature standing at 11 3/4 inches to her shoulder with her back length of 12 inches.  She has a nice head and ear set, deep underjaw, and the signature broad chest finished with her tight set feet.  

Prior to her first breeding S'mores received genetic testing for color and common diseases known in the French Bulldog breed. At 2 years old, S'mores received full OFA examinations as recommended for French Bulldogs by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals and additional screening of her spine

S'mores does carry 1 copy of CMR1 and DM. Because of this, careful selection is made in selecting a sire who does not carry CMR1 or DM in addition to other genetic markers. 

S'more's' color is an added bonus to her health, structure, and temperament.  S'mores is black and tan and carries blue, cocoa, and intensity colors.  

S'mores comes from a pedigree of heavy hitters in the French Bulldog community including Roman Empire Bullies "Teddy," Kissabullz Maximum Blue, Ignavi Otello  and many others from her Sire including Doc Holiday La Morena Del, Curly's Trinity Treasure, Hatarmenti, Kissabullz,  and Von Der Monarchia from her Dam.
